BECK and Dietrich's Join Forces | LIGNOLOC® Now Integrated into Dietrich's DC-Statik 25
THE PATENTED LIGNOLOC® WOODEN NAIL FROM BECK: NOW EVEN EASIER TO CALCULATE WITH THE CONSTRUCTION SOFTWARE FROM DIETRICH'S.
LIGNOLOC® by BECK is the first collated nail system made of the renewable raw material beech wood that enables wood-to-wood connections without the need for metal, glue, or adhesives. When shot in using specially designed pneumatic nailers or nailing heads, friction heat creates a permanent bond through lignin adhesion: the wooden nails bond inseparably with the material. LIGNOLOC® options in various diameters and lengths allow for a wide range of applications and offer a fully sustainable solution for modern timber construction projects, meeting the highest ecological standards. Version 25 of Dietrich’s timber construction software enables load distribution and calculation of timber frame walls and wooden beam ceilings directly within the building model. This allows for quick definition of load-bearing areas and automatic determination of wind loads for any floor plan with ease.
“The integration of our innovative LIGNOLOC® wooden nails into DC-Statik highlights the countless possibilities for using these exceptionally sustainable fasteners in timber construction,” explains Dipl. Ing. Stefan Siemers, Director of Research & Development at BECK. “Our collaboration with Dietrich’s reinforces our commitment to creating sustainably innovative solutions for the construction industry.”
