From Ferrari to tortellini: an unforgettable final trip to Bella Italia for our apprentices

Our former apprentices explore our production at FASCO and immerse themselves in firsthand Italian flair.
25. June 2024

Arrivederci Apprenticeship, buongiorno italia!

After successfully completing their final apprenticeship exams, our young talents have begun their careers in various departments across our company. This trip now provides the perfect opportunity to celebrate the team spirit that flourished during their apprenticeship, and to express heartfelt gratitude for the daily commitment and motivation shown by each individual.

Highspeed into adventure

Things got hot right at the start. During the outward journey, we made a stop in Maranello to visit the Ferrari Museum. Although the real Ferraris were out of reach, the ride in the simulator was a real highlight. For dinner, we went to a delicious trattoria in Bologna.

WARM WELCOME AT OUR SUBSIDIARY FASCO IN ITALY

The next day, we received a very warm welcome from our colleagues in Italy. An exciting factory tour with Hanno Baas gave us a deep insight into the company's various production processes. We really worked up a sweat during the subsequent appliance assembly - handling the many small and delicate parts was a real challenge. The firing tests at the end of the day showed whether everything was really assembled correctly and completely. Let's just say: the result is impressive!

Bologna: Culture at its best

In the late afternoon, we explored the historic city of Bologna - full of cool arcades and medieval towers. A real highlight of our trip!

ITALIAN FINALE: TORTELLINI COOKING CLASS WITH MAMMA IVANA

On Wednesday, we left the hotel early to make a special stop on the way home - a tortellini cooking class! With Mamma Ivana as our expert, we learned how to prepare the dough perfectly and shape the small pasta pockets correctly. Afterwards, we enjoyed our homemade pasta - a perfect end to our trip to our subsidiary in Italy!

To all BECK locations

This trip was not only a thank you to our former apprentices for their daily commitment and dedication, but also an opportunity to further strengthen the strong cohesion within the BECK company.
